Fall Design on a Dime!

Raise your hand if you loveeeee FALL?!? Well if you don’t, then trust me I love it for all of us! Lol. I’ve been absolutely obsessed with fall since August 1st. However, I refrained until the middle of the August to decorate my apartment in fall related items. I decided to purchase a few new items this year, because I have a lot more shelving space to decorate with this year. I still need a few more items to fill out certain places in my apartment, but I wanted to show you some of the awesome items I purchased from the Dollar Tree and the Target Dollar Spot.

Here’s a look at my bookshelves…

Let’s start off with the bottom left hand book shelf. The fall items on this shelf include a turquoise colored mason jar, two pumpkins, and a beautiful faux fall flower arrangement. All of these items are from the Dollar Tree.

The bottom right book shelf has a orange colored mason jar, a cute fall saying, and a pumpkin. It also has an white owl container with some small plastic pumpkins and leaves inside it for a little fall treat. The white owl is from Target, but the remaining items are from the Dollar Tree.

The second level right shelf has an owl statue, autumn sign, and a set of owls. The three owls are “hear no evil”, “see no evil”, and “speak no evil” in Halloween theme. The first two items are from the Target dollar spot last year. The other set of owls are from a decor place in North Alabama.

I would love to see your fall decorations in your home! I love getting inspiration from all of your photos and links.

Tay’s Top 5 Nail Polishes

Top 5 Fall Polishes

I’ve already discussed all of my favorite fall clothing and makeup items, but I left out my polishes. I don’t mention it a whole lot, but I usually paint my nails several times a week. I get extremely bored with my nail color. I almost treat my nail color as another accessory to an outfit, because I will sometimes even change the color depending on what I’m wearing that day. Lol.

Luckily for y’all my obsession allows me to share my favorite colors for fall! Lol. Let’s take a look at each of them…

Top Fall Polishes

Commander in Chic by Sally Hansen

These polishes are some of my absolute favorite. They have amazing coloring that isn’t streaky at all. The price on these isn’t bad either plus you can usually get them on sale. You can’t beat that girl! J This color in particular has been a favorite of mine for several years. You might think it’s just your average gray, but you’d be very wrong. This gray has a purple/blue undertone that is evident once it hits the sunlight. It’s so GORGEOUS!!

Ruby Do by Sally Hansen

Most people wouldn’t automatically think of this as a fall color, but we all know I think differently. Lol. This color looks pinker in the picture, but it’s more of a mauve color in person. We all know how much I’ve been digging the mauve colors lately for fall, so this has obviously been one of my favorites.

Forever Festive by Covergirl

The classic red is essential to for every season, but especially for the fall/winter months. This is a twist on the classic red, because it’s got more depth to its color. It’s almost a crimson color, but it also looks almost satin on the nails.

Sexy in Sequins by L’Oreal Paris

For those that have watched any of my videos, then this color should come as no shock to y’all. This nail polish is AMAZING!! The glitter in this polish is actually mixed into the purple color, so you don’t have to worry about getting one piece of glitter per swipe of the polish. This polish is very thick though, so remember to apply it with a light hand.

French Quarter For Your Thoughts by OPI

This is the classic gray color. I love gray nail polish…in case you haven’t noticed. It just looks so chic to me and it goes with lots of outfit choices, so it’s a favorite for me. I also really love the quality of the OPI nail polishes. They are more expensive, but you can definitely tell the difference of them.

Well, there you have it folks “My Top 5 Fall Polishes.” What are your favorite fall colors?!? I’d love for you to leave a comment below letting me know!

Happy Tuesday!
